Uveal Melanoma Bank

The Uveal Melanoma Bank gathers biological material from donors with uveal melanoma, accompanied by an extensive clinical database. Tumor and metastasis biopsies, as well as blood samples, enable the cultivation of cell lines and the conduct of histological and biomechanical studies. In addition, this biobank creates a reserve of DNA, RNA, proteins and extracellular vesicles, facilitating research in genomics, genetics, transcriptomics and proteomics. It plays a vital role in the understanding and treatment of uveal melanoma.
