Reporting to the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé , the objective of the Vision Sciences Research Network (RRSV) is to increase Quebec’s research capacities and competitiveness in eye and vision health.

The members of the Vision Science Research Network (VSN) aim to understand the fundamental mechanisms of vision and to use this knowledge for the development of biomedical technologies or therapies allowing the maintenance or restoration of vision. They are also committed to supporting the rehabilitation and social integration of people with visual impairments.

Since its creation, the network has almost tripled its membership and has developed a solid structure that promotes scientific collaboration and excellence in vision research.
