Michel Cayouette, winner of the University of Montreal Research Recognition Award
The Montreal Clinical Research Institute (IRCM) is delighted to congratulate one of the most eminent researchers in visual health in Quebec, Dr. Michel Cayouette, full professor at the Université de Montréal, for receiving the Research Recognition Award (fundamental/mid-career component) from the Faculty of Medicine of the Université de Montréal.
Director of the IRCM Cellular Neurobiology Research Unit, as well as Director of the FRQS Vision Health Research Network and Senior Scientific Advisor for Fighting Blindness Canada, Dr. Cayouette and his teams regularly distinguish themselves by publishing large-scale scientific work, contributing significantly to the advancement of knowledge on eye diseases and the development of new therapies.
