The laboratory of Dr. May Griffith at the Research Centre of Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont – Université de Montréal is seeking PhD students with a background in cell and molecular biology and a strong interest in translational research. The laboratory brings together an interdisciplinary and international team conducting innovative research in human corneal regenerative medicine, including the development and use of biosynthetic implants in clinical trials.

Dr. Isabelle Poitras‘ research focuses on visual recovery after stroke, a common but often overlooked impairment in rehabilitation. She is currently recruiting a Master’s or PhD student to work on a project assessing the feasibility and efficacy of combining repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) with visual interventions at the École des sciences de la réadaptation – Université Laval . The goal of this project is to develop innovative approaches to improve visual recovery and autonomy in stroke survivors.
