Renaud Manuguerra-Gagné : « Ma thèse en 180 secondes »
September 25, 2014, after a thrilling competition, Renaud Manuguerra-Gagné, student member of the VHRN, won the 3rd prize at the international finale of the « Ma thèse en 180 secondes » contest. This competition, organized by the Association francophone pour le savoir (Acfas), brought together twelve PhD students from Canada, France, Belgium and Morocco. Renaud brilliantly described his thesis about the regenerative potential of mesenchymal stem cells. Injection of these cells in the eye may offer hope in the treatment of glaucoma.
Renaud Manuguerra-Gagné is currently a PhD student under the supervision of Drs Mark Lesk and Denis-Claude Roy, both of whom are members of the VHRN.
