TRAVEL AWARD: TRAINING

The objective of this initiative is to provide financial support to student members of the Vision Sciences Research Network (VSRN)—including college students, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows—for SHORT-TERM TRAINING opportunities. Priority will be given to intersectoral applications.

The following activities are eligible for funding:

• Training on sophisticated equipment
• Specialized courses
• Summer School (excluding VSRN Summer School)
• Laboratory stays, as part of either existing or new collaborations

Please review the rules below to determine your eligibility.

Amount*

Up to $3,000

*Funding will be based on eligible expenses outlined in the application form, up to a maximum of $3,000.

Deadlines

Financial year 2026-2027

* If these dates fall on a Friday-Saturday-Sunday, the candidate will have until Monday at 11:59 p.m. to send their application to the VSRN.
