Student mobility: training internship
The objective of this initiative is to provide financial support to student members (college students, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows) of the Vision Sciences Research Network (VSRN) as part of a SHORT-TERM TRAINING or an INTRODUCTORY SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH INTERNSHIP. Intersectoral applications will be given priority.
In the “SHORT-TERM TRAINING” category, the following activities will be eligible:

training on sophisticated equipment
-
specialized courses
-
Summer School (excluding RRSV Summer School)

Stay in a laboratory as part of an existing or non-existing collaboration
The duration for this category must be at least 5 days.
In the “INTRODUCTORY RESEARCH INTERNSHIP” category, the following activities will be eligible:

summer internship

introductory research internship
The duration for this category must be at least 3 months.

Scholarship: up to $3,000
Up to a maximum of $3,000 per recipient (with supporting expense report)

November 20, 2024* (WINTER 2024): training starting between January 1 and April 31, 2025
Financial year 2025-2026
March 1, 2025* (SUMMER 2025): training starting between May 1 and August 31, 2025
July 1, 2025* (FALL 2025): training starting between September 1 and December 31, 2024
November 1, 2025* (WINTER 2026): training starting between January 1 and April 31, 2026
* If these dates fall on a Friday-Saturday-Sunday, the candidate will have until Monday 11:59 p.m. to send their application to the RRSV.
