Our students oversea
One of our students, Nadia Ben Meriem, is presently studying at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) in the Public Health for Eye Care master program.
The LSHTM is a research-led postgraduate medical school and is internationally renowned in the fields of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. The MSc Course in Public Health for Eye Care has an orientation on the prevention of blindness in developing countries, as well as epidemiology of blinding eye diseases and public health.
On 20 January 2015, Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex, accompanied by the Prince of England, Edward, Earl of Wessex, visited the LSHTM to see avoidable blindness programmes funded by The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust and to meet the students of the Public Health for Eye Care MSc program.
