Vanier Scholars 2023
Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships (value of $50,000/year for 3 years) are awarded to the most promising students in both academic performance and scientific research, who demonstrate exceptional leadership skills.
Tiffany Habelrih, a PhD student in Pharmacology at the Faculty of Medicine of the Universite de Montreal, under the supervision of Dr. Sylvain Chemtob and co-directed with Dr. Sylvie Girard, ranked 6th out of 183 eligible applications at the CIHR level. Her research studies focus on the « Efficacy of an allosteric IL-1R antagonist, rytvela, in treating preterm labor to prevent fetal tissue damage associated with preterm birth ».
