The Bionic eye soon in Québec
Dr. Flavio Rezende, VHRN clinician-researcher member, will soon install the Argus® II Retinal Prosthesis System to treat people suffering from retinal degeneration. Designed and manufactured by the American company Second Sight, Argus® II is the first « bionic eye » designed to treat blindness due to retinal degeneration.
