27th Annual Meeting of the Vision Sciences Research Network (VSRN)

The Network is pleased to invite you to its next annual meeting!

This meeting will give you the opportunity to discover what is being done in vision science research in Quebec. It’s a unique and privileged opportunity to meet your colleagues from various Quebec institutions and share your knowledge. The VSRN’s annual meeting is the only opportunity to bring ALL OUR MEMBERS together, and we’re very proud to see the growing participation in this event year after year.

*A bus will be chartered for people from Montreal and Trois-Rivières.

Aurélie Calabrèse, PhD

France

Dr. Calabrèse is a psychophysician and permanent researcher at the Laboratory of Cognitive Psychology (UMR 7290) Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS) & Aix-Marseille University (AMU), in the « Perception and attention » research team (France).  Her research focuses on understanding ocular disorders and abnormal visual experiences in visual processing and the brain’s adaptation to degraded visual conditions. In particular, Dr. Calabrèse is studying  study functional plasticity of the visual and oculomotor systems, as well as the factors limiting visual performance in visually impaired people. Clinical applications will include the development of rehabilitative methods and adaptative equipment to improve the quality of life of the visually impaired.
